Our main opening hours are Monday to Friday 10:00 to 16:00. Students can arrive from 9:45 and will be allowed in.
We only have a receptionist between 10:00 and 14:30 (13:30 on Friday and 15:30 on Tuesday and Thursday), so we are unable to provide drop-in support outside of these times. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Avenue Multicultural Centre at Avenue St Andrews church – The Avenue, Southampton SO17 1XQ [VIEW MAP]
Every Friday between 10:00 and 12:00 – it’s a good place to meet other people, get support with English or issues such as benefits or housing. They also provide hot drinks and food, some that can be taken away if you need it. The drop in is run by Southampton & Winchester Visitors Group (SWVG) and we have an advice desk there – come and say hello!

Every Thursday from 10:00 to 13:00 – It’s a great place to meet others at the café, and there are signposting services, a music group you can join and social supermarket available too. More information here. We have an advice desk there, so come and say hello!
CLEAR stands for “City Life Education and Action for Refugees” and has been a project of City Life Church since 2001 when Southampton became a dispersal city for people seeking asylum and refugees.
For more than 20 years, CLEAR has been supporting people though offering advice, education and practical support to help them to integrate and rebuild their lives in the UK.
