CLEAR has provided a range of employment support services to refugees, people seeking asylum and other migrant groups for many years. However, due to a change in our funding, our employment support service will end on 30th September 2024.

We will continue to provide employment advice regarding applying for the right to work (people seeking asylum) and access to certain licences (e.g. SIA or private hire driver licences). We will no longer provide support regarding CVs and looking for work, or wider employment support.

To ask for advice or to book an appointment, please send a WhatsApp message to 07724 592661 or complete the request form, available here:

We recognise that this is a change and therefore we have produced a list of other organisations that may be able to assist you with your job search.

  • Refugee Employability Programme delivered by Palladium
This is specifically for those with Refugee Status, Family Reunion or who have arrived on a Government resettlement scheme.
  • Southampton City Council Employment Support Team. Phone: 023 8091 7868 or Email: employment.support.team@southampton.gov.uk
  • Southampton City Council Work Clubs

Central Library – Every Thursday 3pm to 5pm

We understand that for some clients this will be a change to the service CLEAR has provided but we have had to make this decision due to our future funding situation.
